On 5-2-2016, Hon. Jane Barwick, Fulton County Superior Court Judge and member of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs, gave her classification talk to the club. She told the story of how she first learned about Rotary when she was a graduating senior in high school and received the Service Above Self Award for community service work. In her humorous and humble presentation, she told the stronger story that Rotarians should never underestimate the effect that recognition of youth has on youth.
