On March 28, 2016, Phonethipsavanh "Thip" Nouanthong, 2015-2016 Humphrey Fellow, Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University, spoke to the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs (GA) about her country of Laos, medical challenges in Laos, and how her Buddhism belief guides her study. Thip hold a BB.Sc. in MedicalTechnology, M.B.A. in International Business, M.Sc. in Immunology in HIV/AIDS, Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences. She curently works at Institute Pasteur du Laos. Thip was introduced by Dr. Philip Brachman, Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health.
