On April 25, 2016, North Springs Charter High School Student and Essayist Shannon Bass read her winning essay in the 2016 Laws of Life Essay Contest. The essay dealt with her feelings and adjustments after the death of her father as a young girl. She was supported by her mother family and several of her school teacher and staffs.
