On Monday, September 18, 2017, Maria Fejervary spoke to the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs about safe houses in Costa Rica for victims of human trafficking. From the FACEBOOK page, "Salvando Corazones is dedicated to the fight against trafficking of children into the sex industry in Costa Rica. Through the operation of safe homes, child survivors of commercial exploitation receive education, rehabilitative services and unconditional love and support needed to return to society as capable young adults. Salvando Corazones translated into English means "Saving Hearts" which is what we do on a daily basis. We have girls brought to us that have no hope left and it is our job to give them that hope back! We opened a Safe House for these girls at an undisclosed location (for their safety). They are now leading new lives and given that second chance they so deserve!" Facebook Link
