After over 50 years, Charles retired on about August 16, 2022 He spent this weekend prepping his truck for return to Fitzgerald & Sons Plumbing, so it no longer resides on the driveway. He washed the truck every week to keep it clean. Many mornings I watched as he left at 4:30AM to go to whatever project her supervised. He enjoyed working with this fine company who treated its employees professionally and with respect. Charles doesn't like being photographed, but he will smile occasionally. On his final day, he was treated to a fine lunch, great company, and he left feeling he was respected and appreciated. I, his wife, will miss the company truck being parked in the driveway, it was a living tool chest that he thoroughly enjoyed and cared for over the years. Thanks to all of the fine coworkers that always made his feel he worked with a great team.
