Ret. Chief of the Sandy Springs Fire/Rescue Jack McElfish was recognized by official commendation by the State of Georgia for his career at the November 3, 2014 meeting of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs. Former club president Jim Squire was also recognized for his enthusiasm and efforts in building youth programs in District 6900. Roswell Rotarian Roger Wise read the commendations on behalf of Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle.
