Michael Hendricks and Siyah Anderson, both North Springs Charter High School students in the Communications program, received the 180 Degree Award, recognizing their shift in direction and hard work. Parents and family of the students attended the presentation during the 3-16-2015 meeting of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs.
Also in attendance was Kira Willis, Fulton County Schools Assistant Principal & Testing Coordinator, and North Springs Charter High School Principal, Dr. Eddie Ruiz, who is also a member of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs. Rotary Club of Sandy Springs members Julia Bernath, current coordinator of the 180 Degree Program or the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs, and Lisa Stueve, former principal of North Springs and a member of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs, also assisted in the presentation.
