Rotarians from District 6900 attended the Rotary Literacy Summit on 2-21-2015 at Clayton State University's main campus. Sandy Springs Rotarians Fran Farias, Phil Farias, Gene Jordan, Sally Wyeth & Julia Bernath were in attendance. Fran Farias helped coordinate the event. Dr. Tim Hynes, President of Clayton State University welcomed attendees. Atlanta Public School Board member Courtney English delivered the keynote address. Featured Programs included Jim Coyle (Roswell Rotary Club) on Lunches for Learning/Honduras Schools Program, Robin Custard (Carrollton DawnBreakers) on Tanner ReadER, Mike Wiggins on the Southwir's 12 for Life Teen Employees Program, Irene Schweiger on the Sandy Springs Education Force, David Peterson, Literacy Panel consisting of Comer Yates (Atlanta Rotary Club), Blake Allison and Terrie Ponder, hosted by Jacque Digieso (Roswell Rotary Club)
