North Springs High School’s 180 Degree Students Recognized

On December 1, 2014, the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs recognized two students who were chosen as recipients of the 180 Degree Program, a Rotary Club of Sandy Springs program developed by Daniela Schmidt (now in Munich, Germany) to recognize students that make a great turnaround. June Carlson has taken over the responsibility of coordinating the 180 Degree Program with North Springs. Alex Price and Isis McDowell, both in the Career Tech program at North Springs, were recognized. Teacher Billy Ferris attended the event, along with Kira Willis, Fulton County Schools Assistant Principal & Testing Coordinator. Alex Price attended the ceremony where he received his plaque. Alex was joined by his mother. Isis McDowell was unable to attend the event.
